Collection: Domaine des Huards
Pauline and Alexandre Gendrier farm 42 hectares in Cour-Cheverny and have practised biodynamic farming for more than 25 years. Their estate entirely sits on limestone bedrock with topsoils that are a blend of clay, crushed limestone, sand and flint. Surrounding their vines are forests, ponds and prairies that help to promote biodiversity.
For generations, the heart of the family’s production has been focused on the indigenous grape variety, Romorantin. These wines range from saline and precise, to more complex and age-worthy opulent styles, as well as showing great balance with a touch of residual sugar.
