Zaccharie Côte De Brouilly, 2022 | Beaujolais
Region: Beaujolais
Grape: Gamay
Farming: Organic
Background: This is the Thivin's top wine and comes from the blending of the oldest vines in La Chapelle and Godefroy vineyards. It is aged for 11 months in Burgundy barrels, with about 10% new oak
Tasting notes: A gorgeous deep red colour, with ripe fruits, blackcurrant, blackberry, and aromatic notes of wilted rose, spices and savoury minerality.
Serving: This is still a little young, and can be kept for the next ten years, so decanting is advised, best served at around 13-15 degrees.
