Tasting Note: Lithe and supple with lots of fresh dark fruit and poised acidity which makes it great for drinking young.

Background: This comes from a single plot planted in 1974. The soils are predominantly clay with small pockets of limestone. The grapes are partially de-stemmed before spending 2 weeks in tank. The wine is then ged for 17-18 months in barrel.
