Tasting Note: The palate offers cherry and blackcurrant and silky tannins. An elegant, fresh style of Pommard.
Background: From clay and limestone soils on vines planted in 1967 and 2006 in the lieu-dit Les Combes, close to the Volnay border.
After gentle pressing, the wine is aged on its lees for 12 months in oak barrels (25% new oak) then 2 to 6 months in vats.
Serving: Room temp (15-17°C).
