Tasting Note: A textured, mineral Chardonnay from the heights of the Hautes-Côtes. Bright citrus, white stone fruit and a gentle herbal lift, with subtle oak framing rather than dominating. Creamy and refined on the palate, carried by fresh acidity and a long mineral finish.
Background: From old vines over fifty years of age on limestone soils in the AOC Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. Fermented with native yeasts and aged 12 to 18 months in oak, with very minimal new wood. Bottled without fining or filtration.
