Tasting Note: Dark strawberry aromas mingle perfect with deep structure and silky tannins.

Background: The vineyard Meix Bataille has more clay in the soils, creating wines that are more deep and robust. The fruit for all of their reds is destemmed and then aged in barrel for 18 months - never with more than 25% new oak.

Serving: Fresh from the cellar or failing a cellar run, pop it in the fridge for 20 minutes before cracking open!
