Tasting Note: Despite the cooler vintage, this wine still offers depth and concentration with sweet red fruit, peppery spice and just a touch of oak.

Background:La Fussière is the most notable vineyard of Maranges but is situated at a different angle to the rest of the Côte de Beaune, facing directly south as opposed to south east. The positioning results in more sun exposure and therefore riper, more full wines.

Serving: Fresh from the cellar or failing a cellar run, pop it in the fridge for 20 minutes before cracking open!
