Grape: Pinot Noir
Farming: Sustainable
Tasting Note: The wine is characterised by its intense aromatic profile, it has terrific lift and is bursting with notes of rose, ripe raspberries and pink peppercorns.
Background: La Plante is the name given by the Burgundians to a new vine (the vines here were planted in 2013 ) but the soil here is very un-Burgundian and is largely composed of pink granite and sand.
Serving: Slightly chilled, cellar temp (12–15°C).
Decant into decanter/jug/carafe for 30 minutes to 1 hour before drinking.
