Region: Hautes-Côtes, Burgundy
Grape: Pinot Noir
Farming: Sustainable
Tasting Note: Very fragrant with ripe red fruit, floral and spice notes. On the palate there is lavish fruit and zesty acidity. A delicious vin de soif (wine of thirst) that’s even better slightly chilled.
Background: From vines located in Pernand on deep clay-limestone soils.
La Plante means young plant in the local Burgundian dialect, and the vines for this wine are just 7 years old and the wine is bottled young, which results in an easy-drinking, very fruity wine.
Serving: Decanting recommended. Slightly chilled (10-12°C).
