Tasting Note: From 50 year old vines this is remarkably smooth and refined, rather Pinot Noir like in character. Very fresh with dark blue berry fruit.
Background: Made by the famous Burgundian couple Anne Gros of Domaine Anne Gros in Vosne-Romanée and Jean-Paul of Domaine Tollot-Beaut in Chorey-lès-Beaune, these wines are wonderful examples of refined, sophisticated winemaking from less famous terroirs.
