Tasting Note: An excellent crémant, very pure and fresh with white floral and pâtisserie notes.

Background: This crémant is brut, and spends 18 months ageing on lees.

Crémant de Bourgogne is style-wise the most similar to Champagne (compared to other crémant regions in France, of which there are seven in total) not just because of its close proximity to its northerly neighbour, but also because the same grapes are used. Chardonnay adds finesse and linear acidity, whilst Pinot brings structure and richness.
