Tasting Note: From the schist soils of the Anjou Noir. Ripe and round with notes of coconut, white peach and thyme underpinned by taut acidity and spice notes. Bonnes Blanches is traditionally a sweet wine for the Ogereau family, but Emmanuel has made this a dry version which is plump and forthcoming, energetic and mineral. 

Background: Emmanuel Ogereau picks with zero botrytis and a lot of green fruit – the resulting wines are thrillingly intense and exciting to drink.

Serving: Cold - but not too cold! (10–12°C).
