Chénas Les Petites Pierres Gandelins, 2018 | Mâconnais, Burgundy
Region: Beaujolais

Tasting Note: A ripe nose of red fruit, black cherry and wild strawberry with fresh earth and mint notes. The palate bursts with sweet fruit with lots of attack, bright acidity with a really taut, long finish. Elegant and silky textured.
Background: This is a new cuvée using certified organic fruit from two parcels in Chénas. Les Petites Pierres comes from 60 year old vines on granite stones and clay over granite bedrock and Gandelins from 80 year old vines in a south-facing vineyard on decomposed granite, bordering Moulin-à-Vent. No added sulphur.
Serving: Room temp (15-17°C).
