Clos de Breuilly
This estate definitely is one of the new kids on the block and a recommendation from one of our favorite producers, Jean-Yves Devevey. This is the collaboration of three friends William, Ambroise and Brian who took over the 8 hectare Clos in Saint-Pourçain and released their first vintage in 2020. This Clos has been making wine since 1880 and has been farmed organically since 2006. Important to this plot is its altitude of 350 m above sea level, as well as the terroir which is comprised of sand, clay, and gneiss from volcanic activity in the region.
