Tasting Note: Genevrières is possibly the finest vineyard in Meursault, only ever rivalled by Perrières, though arguably the former yields a more complex and complete wine.
This is just sensational, brimming with fresh green herbs, lemon confit, white peach and smoke. This will age gracefully for many, many years. Near perfect wine.
Background: Aged on its lees for 12 months in oak barrels, no more than 20% new.
Serving: Cold - but not too cold! (10–12°C).
