Tasting Note: This is an incredible wine that clearly demonstrates the greatness of the Mâconnais.

From 85+ year old vines on chalky, limestone soils this is dense and energetic, beautifully complex and nuanced with notes of red apple, toasted hazelnut and white flowers.

Background: Made in the Maillet style of a long, cool fermentation, circa 11 months, in epoxy-lined tanks. 40-50 mg/l total sulphur.

Serving: Cold - but not too cold! (10–12°C).
