Tasting Note: Beautifully fragrant with notes of peony, cherry and seductive black fruit. Mineral, smooth and long with bright acidity and a spicy finish.

Background:  This is a blend of Thivin's seven plots of Côte de Brouilly, which are all located on the eastern, southern and western flanks of Mont Brouilly. Each of these plots is distinguished by its orientation and position on the slope, and each brings its share of complexity to this cuvée.

The soils are dominated by the metadiorite, the volcanic “pierre bleue”, which is more rocky in the highest plots and more clayey in the foothills.
