Chassagne-Mon. 1er Cru 'Abbaye de Morgeot', 2020 | Côte de Beaune, Burgundy
Region: Côte de Beaune, Burgundy
Farming: Lutte rasionee to organic
Tasting Note: Fresh apple and citrus fruits with hints of pineapple and biscuits. Full-bodied and rounded on the palate with mineral notes on the finish.
Background: Whilst Abbaye de Morgeot is not a premier cru itself, two other premier crus - Morgeot and La Chapelle - are permitted to call themselves Abbaye de Morgeot if they wish. Both La Chapelle and Morgeot tend to make white wines that are fleshier and more powerful.
Serving: Take this out of the fridge 10 minutes before you want to drink it - try it at 10-12°C
