Tasting Note: From the Les Chagnots vineyard in Nantoux. Here the slope is very pronounced and affords generous sunshine (beneficial in the Hautes Côtes!) The soil is very stony and yields an incredibly pure, taut wine. Beautifully complex, layered and fine. Tastes like a very good Puligny-Montrachet. 

Background: Ageing is 18 months in barrel (minimum), including 12 on lees. Vines planted in 1992. 

Serving: Cold - but not too cold! (10–12°C).
