Background: Whilst Abbaye de Morgeot is not a premier cru itself, two other premier crus - Morgeot and La Chapelle - are permitted to call themselves Abbaye de Morgeot if they wish. Both La Chapelle and Morgeot tend to make white wines that are fleshier and more powerful.
