Tasting Note: A crisp, expressive white wine; a classic Sauvignon Blanc. It is a pale straw color with green tinges, vibrant, with aromas of grapefruit and a subtle flinty minerality. On the palate, the wine is refreshingly acidic with a hint of asparagus, it an ideal choice for those who like a zesty Sauvignon Blanc. Very digestible!
Background: Touraine is full of limestone topped with flinty clay and yields very fresh, mineral wines.
