Tasting Note: Our fresh, fruity house red - With a light ruby hue and delicate notes of red cherries, strawberries, and cinnamon, this juicy and fruit-forward wine has balanced acidity and soft tannins. Deliciously quaffable!
Background: Touraine is full of limestone topped with flinty clay and yields very fresh, mineral wines. The grapes for this wine are sourced from southwest- and southeast-facing slopes where the soils are a mix of clay-limestone and shallow flinty clay.
