Tasting Note: A sensational wine that combines just the right amount of reduction with exhilarating energy and exudes panache. There is an excitement and ferocity to Antoine's wines and this fizzing with personality. Feels like high-end Burgundy.

Background: Grown on alluvial, calcareous soil, good for producing wines with lots of fresh acidity. Altesse produces characterful, age-worthy wines, which achieve a compelling complexity after a few years in the bottle. Altesse - green, alpine flavours fresh walnut, alpine herbs - not dissimilar to vermouth, in a really good way! At low yields it is ripe with buckets of texture. In its youth, flavors range from fresh almonds and bergamot to pineapple, peach, and quince. With age, the wines develop aromas of honey, toast, nuts, and white truffle.

Serving: Pop this into the fridge for 15 minutes to freshen it up! Best served at 14-16°C
