Club Emile

For more than fifteen years, we've been travelling to meet winegrowers across France and beyond. Sitting at kitchen tables, tasting straight from the barrel, and building relationships that take years, not visits, to earn. Some of these people we now count as friends. A few, we've been buying from for over a decade.

As female importers, we bring a particular eye to this work. We were never interested in wines chosen for their label or their score. We wanted wines made by people still doing the work themselves: pruning their own vines, fermenting in the same cellar their grandfather used, respecting the land, and creating characterful wines with a real sense of place.

Club Emile is how we share that network with you.

Some of the names we work with are well known. Others you'll likely have never heard of, because their production is small and their wines don't often leave the region they're made in. Many of them are poured in some of the UK's leading restaurants, on lists where every bottle has to earn its place. Until now, the only way to drink them was to book a table.

How it works

Order a one-off selection whenever something catches your eye, or subscribe and we'll send a new selection every month, every two months, or every three, whichever suits the way you drink or explore.

We do the travelling, the tasting, the searching. What arrives is simply what we'd want to drink ourselves.
