Tasting Note: An incredibly detailed, complex nose of white fruit, lemon zest, bergamot, dill, lime blossom and spring flowers. The palate is intensely fresh and mineral with a long, salty, vibrant finish.

Background: L’Enthousiasme comes from a parcel in the Clos le Grand Beaupréau vineyard where there is a vein of sandstone where Chenin grows right on the rock. The grapes are so full of character and have such a strong, powerful, intensely mineral signature that in 2014 Emmanuel started to vinify them separately, such was his enthusiasm for this unique little patch of vines.  

It is a great Savennières for laying down, a wine of immense texture and breathtaking length.

Serving:  Cold - but not too cold! (12–14°C).
