L'Aumonier

Founded in 1996 by Sophie and Thierry Chardon, Domaine L'Aumonier is located in the far eastern reaches of the Touraine appellation.

In 2003, they converted to organic viticulture, receiving certification from Ecocert three years later. They are transitioning to biodynamic farming, and expect to be certified as such by the harvest of 2022.

They now own 34 hectares of vines, predominantly planted with Sauvignon, a terrific, age-worth dry Chenin is also produced, similar in style to a rich, waxy Vouvray. 

The style of the wines here is intensely fruity with lovely freshness, great clarity and definition. Exuberant with bright acidity, and a complete joy to drink!
